Is sacrifice of animals really neccessary

I was shocked when i came to know that four camels have been bought in chennai for laying it as bait during the Bakrid festival, even The Times of India had some pictures of camels ready to be taken for sacrifice. They are feeling proud of it since it is the first time camels are going to be slayed here. Any sacrifice of animals under religious reasons should be banned under the law.
Why dont you slay your corrupt politicians instead??

Ultimately this will surely lead to another natural catastrophe like Tsunami. Fishes took the revenge recently(Tsunami in the sea), now we dont know when camels(something going to happen in the desert) will take their revenge. There is a saying a tamil "Konna pavam thinna pochu" which translates to "the sin you committed by killing something will be annulled if you eat it". People are blindly following this rule nowadays but remember that this rule is applies only to animals which dont have the ability to differentiate between good and bad. Already we have come across instances where people encroached the forest lands in Mumbai and ultimately there were childrens killed by panthers as they were forced to stray in to the residential lands.

Camels have a better mileage than a TVS victor with just 10 litre of water it can give atleast 60-70 KM. why dont you use it for travel instead, that too in chennai where the petrol cost is nearly Rs. 45 whereas 1 litre of water is still hovering at Rs.10 also your roads are much worst than the Desert.

Let us see till how long Mother Nature can be patient, people always like to be learn it in a hard way it seems...........
