Art of Living @ Bangalore
There was a huge rush in Bangalore for last week for the Art of Living event. Even Bryan Adams was not welcomed this way than for Sri Sri Ravishankar. There were 10 presidents of various countries(including ours) and nearly 1000 musicians constituting 25 lakhs heads.
I agree that Art of Living foundation is devoid of religion and promotes spirituality through yoga and meditation. It has followers world wide and they promote spiritualism in the modern way by associating it with societal problems. But my question is that why such a publicity? And another disgrace is that our politicians(not even our president was spared) were in the crowd.
What if Sri Sri Ravishankar gets into some scandal/corruption which is ought to happen if Indians are involved. Wont our president who is respected much more than this guru be also pointed for supporting demarring his reputation. May be personally Mr. Kalam might have some inclination towards Art of Living but never should have shown this in public.

The people who are all there were looking peace in their soul(nobody has except someone). Somebody is showing the way and people are ready to follow it.

I am confused - What should I crib about? sri sri or the government.
Sri Sri is a crazy nut like any other Godman. He is just interested in his welfare. He is no Dalai Lama to be defied.
Same goes for Sai Baba and other Godmen like the ISKON guys who sell spirituality .
Besides another funny thing is, Sri Sri is also nominated for Nobel Peace Prize.
