Delhi-Agra-Mathura-Delhi

One of my long pending trip was fulfilled last week to visit Agra and Mathura. Me and Roomies planned for this trip this saturday. We booked for an Tata Indica but what we got was a 15 day old brand new Tata Indigo with Govt. Of. India label(it happens only in India, the driver also mentioned that he had removed the Flash light over the top of the car to avoid being caught by the police). So the road NH2 can be described as Laloo said "Hema malini's cheeks" , it was so smooth and luckily the weather was too pleasant.

By afternoon we reached Agra to visit the Taj Mahal. I feel that Taj Mahal has lost its glory it is shown white only in photos as such the Marbles colour has turned yellow. Although the government says that it had banned all polluting industries near Taj, nothing seems to be effective, and already Yamuna which was adding beauty earlier to the Taj is now in a sorrow state(we have named it as MOBILE COOUM). Of course we took some snaps there(tommorrow we we will use them for Bride hunt, atleast for personality of Taj edavadhu mattum).

Then from Taj we went to Mathura, the place of Birth of Lord Krishna, I thought Lord Krishna was born in a Jail dark and dirty(much like my room), but when i went there i found that the place where he had born was quite big(In fact if that cell space was available in Mumbai, it would have been divided and would have been rented atleast to 3 families). There is a big Krishna mandir adjacent to his birth place, most irritating part is the security restrictions to enter the temple. Since the temple is located adjacent to a Mosque, we were ripped till our underwears before entering the temple(but i dint see any security restriction to the Mosque, quite an irony).

The most important place in this trip was a Sikh gurudwara which was enroute to Delhi from Mathura, First i thought it to be a Hindu version of Taj Mahal but later found that some canadian sikh had built this fully Marble gurudwara, it was worth watching with beautiful lighting in the basement.

Then we returned back by night to our home where we ended our trip with a DOMINOS PIZZA
