Going to see a french film....

Got a free pass to view a french film in Siri fort(La Vie dans la ciel), which has been organized by the French embassy(people do go to Siri fort for nefarious reasons, check Times of India for that) . The last french film I had seen was AMELIA(in Zee MGM) of which i couldnt only understand only 2 or 3 lines of the entire film, though i understood the subject of the film. Though im an ardent fan of Roberto Benigini, i have seen his films only in English versions-Life is Beautiful(again courtesy Zee MGM).
Last weekend the French class was full of knowledge finetuning and group discussions( one topic was "Il est necessaire pour la censure a la Television", you know what stance i would have taken :D) . We discussed about DELF, Job oppurtunities of various languages etc. Now i really come to know there is another world of oppurtunities lying unexplored after going to the classes.
Note: My professor charges Rs. 10 per word for doing translation and Rs. 200 per word for interpretation(similar to Medical Transcription) , I even feel that IT as a proffession is nowhere comparable in terms of Income(regular source) generated from knowing Foreign languages. Heard Japanese is the most lucrative currently in terms of income generation these days.

Jaipur Revisited...

This weekend me and my Roomie visited Jaipur. This time the difference was that we carried Handy cam instead of regular Cameras. Our sole aim of the trip was to go to Chokidhani and Sariska, unfortunately we met with an accident so we were forced to cancel the trip to Sariska.

The trip started by 6AM from Noida and reached Gurgaon by 8:00 AM in my car. where we picked up another interesting guy ( a BDM in a reputed Chinese company). He is a pure vegeterian(Pandit family) and has been staying in china for the past 2 years(still couldnt figure out How).

My roomie was appointed the P.C.Sriram(Reputed film Cameraman) and was shooting the trip sitting in the front right from Buffaloes, Elephants and some good looking chicks too. Since we relied on my roomie(typical Sardar) for the route inside Jaipur, we had to face lots of problems.

For eg. We were supposed to catch a main road and were struck in a T junction , this Sardar was relaxing in the back at that time and when I asked how to go, he asked "to take a right" when i shifted my head he was showing the left direction in his hand. Sometimes he used to say "Idhar Chalo" which neither meant take left or Take right. Somehow we were able to roam about in Jaipur this way and successfully an oldman in his Maruti took a U turn and dented our vehicle there, fortunately nothing more happened. We took shelter in a beautiful house of his friend just oppositte to the Birla Mandir in Jawaharlal Nehru road. The same day night we decided to go to Chokidhani

Chokidhani:

This place is about 7-8 Km from Jaipur on the Jaipur-Kota highway. Chokidhani is a Five star resort in a typical Rajasthani style, entry cost per head is Rs. 190. We entered the resort by 7 PM in the evening, it was like entering a typical Rajasthani village with Village shows, Snake charmers, Magicians, Small shops selling Rajasthani items like Gems, paintings etc. You cant believe it to be a 5 star resort. We danced with the local folks, did some eve teasing....then came the important part THE FOOD. Since i have great craze for Rajasthani food, you could see how my other friends stared at me like seeing a GADODGAJAN(a Demon from epic Mahabharta) in real life. So good was the food for half an hour none was able to get up from their seats(Dont think a table and chair) you have to sit in the floor. It is really worth the money to visit this place.

The next day we visited the Birla Mandir, went to see some forts(Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar) and did shopping. We returned to Noida by 9:30 Pm.

Film Azagia Theeye

I had always been an ardent fan of Prakashraj and his films, this one is churned out from his Banner. The film revolves around 4 young people who work as art directors in the Tamil Cine Industry and how they get tangled in troubles while helping the heroine to annul her marriage arrangements.

The hero is Prasanna(remember the film "Five Star") and heroine is Navya nayar. As usual Navya nayar belongs to a family of dons where her father, brother discuss on Man slaughtering every day, they see a groom for her(Prakashraj) in US, but she refuses to marry for the sake of carer. She seeks the help of the hero through her friends brother. Due to unfortunate circumstances the hero is forced to register his marriage with her. How the relationship continue is what the film is all about.

Notable feature of the film is the action of Prasanna and Prakashraj(the Two P's), these two really dominate the film and their expressions are praiseworthy.

I couldnt clearly get the songs( too much to expect from a Pirated VCD). This film is worth to see with family. If you dont have a family, arrange for one!!!.
