kanchi seer case.....

I thought not to write anything about this, but still the issue of Kanchi Seer has become a National one. Though it is not proper to come to any conclusion until he has been declared guilty by the court what's interesting to see is the daily turn of events in this case.

At first Kathiravan a primary accused who killed the guy in the temple had reverted back saying that he was forced by the police to accept the same, now a lady named Usha from srirangam, a cancer patient undergoing chemotheraphy has been blamed. Now one side Anuradha Ramanan(noted Tamil writer) has accused the seer for mis behaviour with women. So tommorow whomsoever want to take vengeance this is the right time to file a complaint against the seer particularly women will be given priority

Heard there will be a toll free number to automatically register a case against the seer(1600-ARREST-SEER). I dont think so even Veerapan if he had been caught alive would have provided this entertainment after arrest. He might have come out in bail in a day or two and would have stood in election representing any of the two Dravida Kalagams (DMK/ADMK) and our great tamil people also would have chosen him as an MP.

Nice Diwali

This Diwali I was celebrating in Chennai. This was the only diwali with so much dhamaka in TamilNadu without Fireworks. It was raining heaviliy in chennai which was 25% more than expected. When i turned on the TV I was a hearing a new song called Jayalalitha Subrabatham, followed by Jayalalitha Ashtothram.

A small poem that came to my mind on the various events during my one week stay there.

Diwali In Chennai

There was no one firing crackers in the Street.
Rain caused the Mettur Dam rise to 100 Feet
Amma made Rajnikanth fall at her Feet.
Jayandrer was given a ChargeSheet.
So Karunanidhi was rejoicing as Drums beat.

Anyway nowhere chennai is comparable to Delhi and i really missed it during my stay in chennai(inspite of it being by hometown).... East or west Delhi is the best(The roti, the chicks, the people....)
